HH Education Events: What Is It, How Did It Get Started, How Can You Help

I would like to share what I have been doing. After 45 years as a teacher, school administrator, college professor (Youngstown State University) and Assistant Dean in the College of Education (Slippery Rock University) I decided to retire. Eight months into retirement I had the need to remain active in the profession I love—education.

I founded HH Education Events with the goal of “Building Partnerships for Student Success”. I organize unique events for educators and others on current topics. Recent examples: Mental Health Issues/ Teaching Financial Literacy/ Preparing Students for the World after High School/ School Safety/ Legal Issues/ The Impact of Social Media on Students/ Diversity Equity Inclusion.

All events are offered at no cost to the participants. This is made possible by financial support of individuals and organizations who are interested in networking with educators and school districts. Every effort is made to include the supporters in the event as presenters, panelist or focus group members. I am committed to building partnerships because it takes individuals and organizations working together for students to be successful.

I am asking for your help. If you have suggestions about possible topics please let me know.  If you would like to present and become involved please let me know. If you, or you know of an individual or organization who can help

An ALL STAR PANEL

financially support this effort please let me know;

Thank you for your consideration and look forward to your response.

For those of you old enough to remember Happy Trails to You. For those of you who are not your assignment from this former teacher is to find out.

The best to you and may your trail be happy and safe—Herb
